Our story

Shikhar Convent Public School is in Bhagat Vihar, Karawal Nagar, and is recognised by the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi (School ID 1104411). We teach children from Class I to Class VIII.

Our name, Shikhar, means summit. We believe every child can climb high when they have strong foundations, patient guidance and a school where they feel safe to learn, ask and try.

Our teachers know every child by name. Small steps, celebrated often, build the confidence children carry with them for life.

From the Head Mistress

“Every child who walks through our gate brings something special. Our job is to protect that spark and help it grow, with patient teaching, high expectations and a great deal of care. We want our children to learn their lessons well, and also to learn kindness, discipline and the confidence to ask questions. When parents and teachers walk together, every child can reach their shikhar, their own highest peak.”
